This thread is the official rule for forum escrow. It is closed on purpose. Do not argue policy here. If you have a deal, contact Support on Telegram. The public address of this page is /escrow/.
Escrow is money for one deal. The buyer pays staff. Staff holds it. The seller delivers. Staff then pays the seller, or sends the money back. It is not the yellow figure under Reputation. That figure is a held deposit locked to a handle. A deposit does not pay a sale, and escrow does not sit on a profile.
Fee, minimum, coins
- Fee: 3%. Taken on every deal. By default the buyer sends the price plus 3%, and the seller is paid the full price. If both sides write that the seller covers the fee, the buyer sends the price only and the seller is paid the price minus 3%.
- Minimum: $200. Measured in USD when Support accepts the deal. Smaller deals are refused. A split sale is allowed only when every part is still at least $200 and every part is its own deal.
- Crypto only. Bitcoin (BTC), Monero (XMR), or Litecoin (LTC). No banks, cards, PayPal, or gift cards. Same coin in and out unless both sides agree with Support and pay any conversion. Network fees are the sender problem and are not part of the 3%.
How a deal is opened
Contact Support on Telegram. Send the other handle, the USD price, the coin, and what will be delivered. Support messages the other side and waits until both confirm the same terms.
When both sides confirm, Support sends one fresh address for that deal only. Do not reuse an old address. Do not send to a wallet a member posted in a thread. Do not pay the other member and ask us to call it escrow.
Buyer
- Write the price, the coin, the item, the format, and the check window to Support before you send. If it was not written to Support, it is not part of the deal.
- Pay only the staff address for this deal, and pay the exact amount: price plus 3% when you cover the fee. Underpay and the deal is not held.
- After delivery you have 48 hours to accept or dispute. Silence through that window is an accept, and we release to the seller.
- A deposit on the seller profile is not insurance for this sale. If you paid outside escrow, staff cannot return it.
Seller
- Do not deliver before staff says the payment is held. Delivery before the hold is your own risk.
- Deliver the written item. No swaps and no extra terms after the money is in. A change needs a new written agree from the buyer, sent to Support.
- Keep proof: a sample, a hash, a tracking note, or screenshots with the timeline. Staff can ask for a re-send or a partial refund.
- You cannot pull the coins. Payout goes to the wallet you named to Support. We do not redirect a release to a new handle or a last-minute wallet.
Release, refund, dispute
On accept, staff pays the seller. On a ruled refund, staff returns the buyer payment minus network fees. The 3% is not refunded after the funds were held, except when staff cancelled the deal before delivery started.
A dispute must reach Support on Telegram before the 48 hours end, with what was promised and what arrived. Staff can release in full, refund in full, split, or order a re-send. That ruling is final. Noise in a public thread does not move the coins. A deal with an open report stays locked. The 30-day deposit clock is a different rule and does not pay this escrow.
